Conservatory address:
	Konzervatoř Jaroslava Ježka Roškotova 1692/4 140 00 Praha 4 – Braník Directions: take subway, line C (the red line) to Budějovická stop, change to bus no. 124, 205 get off at “U Statku“ stop, then it’s a 5-minute walk.
Dobeška Club Address:
	Kulturní centrum Dobeška Jasná I 1181/6 147 00 Praha 4 – Braník Directions: bus no. 124, “U Dobešky“ stop, the club is within walking distance from the Conservatory building. It is only a 15-minute walk.
Addresses of Prague jazz clubs:
	U Malého Glena – jazz & blues klub, restaurant and bar Karmelitská 23, Praha 1. Directions: subway, line A (the green line) to “Malostranská“ stop, change to tram 22, 23, 12, 20 – get of at the next stop – “Malostranské náměstí“ – 2 minutes walk from there down the street. The club opens at 8pm. Music starts at 9.30pm. Restaurant open from 10:00am – until 02:00am 50% DISCOUNT on the cover charge on Thur, Fri, Sat for students of the workshop with a valid printed ID.
	U Staré Paní – jazz lounge, restaurace a bar. Michalská ulice 9, Praha 1. Directions: subway A (green line), B (yellow line) to “Můstek“, follow the exit sign to “Můstek“, 8 minutes walk from there. Club opens at 7pm, music starts at 9pm. DISCOUNT: during the ISJW all the students will pay only 100 CZK for all concerts. Students must have their printed ID with them to get the discount.
	AghaRTA Jazz Centrum – – jazz club and bar. Železná st. no. 16, Praha 1. Directions: subway A (green line) stop “Můstek“, follow the exit sign towards “Můstek“, 5 minutes walk from there. Music starts at 9pm. Club opens at 7pm. Cover charge: 200 CZK.

USING THE CLASSROOMS FOR PRACTISING:

The keys are available during breaks at the conservatory reception and will be lent to you after you present your printed student’s ID card. Those who borrow the keys are responsible for the equipment in the classroom. You can practice until 21:00 during working days and until 18:00 at the weekend.

WATER:

There will be a “well” with both cold and hot water available to all participants on the ground floor.

FOOD:

There will be a snack bar with food and drinks in the building. It will be possible to have breakfast and lunch there. It closes in the afternoon.

STORING INSTRUMENTS:

Instruments can be stored in the storeroom – ask someone from the organization team, see the office hours.

TRANSPORTING INSTRUMENTS TO DOBEŠKA:

We prefer your own transport. If you have any large sound equipment, the organization team might be able to transport it for you upon agreement.>

ACCOMMODATION:

You will be accommodated upon registration. You will get a card with your room number and then pick up your keys at the conservatory reception in exchange for the card. Unfortunately, each room has only one key for all guests. So as to avoid complications, please exchange your phone numbers with one another and always leave the key at the reception, even if you only go to the lessons. At check-out the person who leaves the room as the last, will have to come to the office and hand the tidied room over to the organization team. There aren’t any towels, please, bring your own.
Reception at night: the main entrance is closed for the night. The receptionist will open the door when you ring the bell. If nobody comes to open the door, please, wait. The receptionist might be on a round of the building (about 15minutes). If the reception window is open, keep ringing, the receptionist is not far. Thank you for your understanding.
